Hi everyone,
Things are going well so far in my life. I now co-lead two meditation sessions a week and also my friend and I do private sessions. I also do reiki sessions and also teach it. Our coven is slowly growing. I am glad things are finally coming together it has been a long time coming. We do all our classes and sessions at Gypsies. It soon will be fall again as I see the leaves already turning yellow and orange so they wheel is slowly turning back to the dark half of the year. Blessings

good news!
Hi everyone, I am so excited my friend Amy and I have been asked to teach a meditation class at a metaphysical store called Gypsies. Our first class will be on March 18, 2009! We also have a potential new student for our wicca basics classes we are doing. Things are finally looking up after the wild emotional roller coaster I have had for years. I still miss my boys and always will but I know they are here with me in spirit. Spring is almost here and I can't wait I have been dealing with viral pnuemonia but, I am getting better. I am still coughing some. My husband and are closer than we have been in ages so I am happy about that. He has moved to new area at work and looking forward to working there. I am so happy at least so far his job is not affected by the ecomony (whew). I know some places in michigan are laying off workers. I have a sis and brother in law in GM and hope things continue to be ok for them as they even had a new baby this year. I think soon the economy will turn around but, I think it will be late summer into fall before we see anything. blessings ohh PS happy saint patricks day!! -

its 2009 now now..
Hello everyone.. It has been two years now since Bradley has passed and now over five years since Steven has passed. It still was hard the second yule without my boys. I still felt empty and my husband felt the same in fact he is taking some much needed time off work. We did spend a month in Houston, Texas and it was nice and warm there. The family was ok but it pissed me off my brother decided he would rather have his friend come over than visit with me. He told us to leave before his friend got there. Well I did so I will remember what he did. He tries to sweep it all under the rug and I wanted to know why he did it. My parents are not doing too bad. Dad had eye surgery and is doing well. Mom is pretty good. I do though wish she would learn to relax though and not get so hyper about things. I am so more easy going than her. I love them but they were stressful to be with. I needed a vacation from the "vacation". Since my husband has time off he is doing some projects including remodeling our master bedroom and also building us a gas fireplace for that bedroom. We sure will need it as it is going to be -6 or colder tonight. Brrrrr!! I am staying in until this weekend as I have no plans to go out until then. The coven is going great also my friend and I are going to organize a non profit some day to help fellow pagans. When I have details I will write. I wish all a belated & happy 2009! I hope all is well in your lives.

Happy Summer!
Hello Everyone, Happy Summer yes, its here and almost gone again
I am spending alot of time camping and also trying to be more healthy. It will be soon on August 14,2008 5 years since my beloved Steven passed away. It still does not seem possible that it has been that long but, it has. I still miss him so much and time has healed the wound some but, still is raw. I know he is in a better place now and not in pain. Now the boys are together for eternity. I still see him and his brother alot in my dreams as well as Brad. I still can remember his voice and some of the silly things he used to tell me. Camping though, still is strange without either boy. We go with people but I notice the emptiness. I hear of kids graduating and getting married , even though I am happy for them a little tear still is in my eye. Steven would be a probably about now be graduating college. I know he wanted to go and be a doctor, or something to help people. He was a caring spirit. People keep telling me oh you can adopt kids, yes, but that is expensive and it is not like a car you can't replace another child with another. I get tired of people telling me that shit. It gets very old and sure is one sure fire way to piss me off. I am just content with my memories of them. I am trying keep busy though with the coven and other things. I am now a Reiki Master and I do distant healings and local sessions with friends. I hope someday to open up a practice. That is what I am working on now. I do not have a website yet but I will. What is Reiki?
The name Reiki is pronounced "Ray-Key" comes from the japanese words "rei" meaning spirit, and "ki" meaning energy. It is usually translated as "universal life energy". Reiki is an ancient japanese healing treatment that is done by Reiki practioners who put thier hands on above the energy centers called chakras or just a few inches above the clients body or can do distant healing which what we will do here. Reiki energy causes NO harm and always is done with the highest good of intentions.
What are the benefits of Reiki?.
Reiki will bring the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual issues of the person into greater balance. Most say reiki is a very enlightening and positive experience and sometimes even they go in a spiritual journey during their treatment or even fall asleep and wake up refreshed and more balanced. Some people also get more emotional, weepy, sad and this is part of the normal healing process.

We are not doctors.The challenging thing right now is figuring out what to charge..
one hand people are saying you should not charge and on the other hand it is a service right just like massage or anything else.....
I do give free healing at my yahoo group and I will continue to do that if you are a member.
I do not want to charge an arm and a leg either... some charge I know over $200.00 or more! That is their right I guess but, its not me
I just basically want to cover gas and have some spending money or to help with bills. I am not looking to get rich!
I than have to figure out where do I practice at home? or somewhere else
The next step would buy a massage table. I do already have the candles and music.
I suppose than I will need business cards so there is something I will need to do.
I know this is too what my sons would want.. me doing something that makes me happy.

I also have had people ask me to teach online reiki but, I do not know about that one.. but, I will teach here in person in the community.
